Week 1
This week focuses on strategy and preparing the information and education you need in order to start integrating digital marketing into your business.

  2. Crawl, Walk, Run, Thrive - a process to evolve your marketing in small steps.
  3. Developing your strategy, objectives and tactics - a top down approach to modifying your business plan to include digital media.

Week 2
The second week focuses on tactical details necessary to get yourself setup.
  1. Is your website ready for prime time? Before attracting lots of attention and traffic, we need to be sure your site is ready to capitalize.
  2. An introduction to SEO - how it works, how to properly do research and proven methods for attracting visitors.

Week 3

  1. So I started a blog, what should I write about? A common issue with companies is determining how to approach blogging. We'll get you going with some foolproof techniques.
  2. Video. You don't need a production studio, $5,000 dollar camera or a film degree to produce interesting video content. We'll show you how others are creating video for their businesses.
  3. Repurposing existing brand content will save your time, money and headaches. We will discuss tools that make this easy.

Week 4
We are now ready to shout from the rooftops! The final week brings everything together in which we will discuss ways to get your content out and measure it's effectiveness.
  1. How to use Social Media responsibly. We don't want to overwhelm our fans and friends. A responsible strategy balances frequency of contact with its value and opinion of your audience.
  2. The one thing most people fail to talk about when discussing social media is that while it reaches a large portion of the internet, e-mail can reach EVERYONE. People still check their email and use it daily. The adoption of email and the frequency of use trump any other online media. We will discuss tools and techniques to use so that you can reach your friends and fans via e-mail.
  3. You want to save your precious time for creating content, interacting with real people and selling! This module will introduce you to Marketing Automation methods and tools to automate the process of content distribution including RSS, Podcasting, Twitter Automation, and Blog Automation.
  4. Finally, we will discuss the proper implementation of reporting and teach you how to evaluate the success of your campaigns. By knowing what works and what doesn't you can continuously improve your content and activities to fit your business strategy and goals.
